Well, hello all!

Yes, I know I know, it's been a while. It's been a long long long while. But I'm back! So what have I been up to? Well, honestly, too much to summarize in any civilized manner so I'll just nip it in the bud and tell you about the last two weeks.

One word: marathon. On Sunday October 14th, I ran my first official marathon. It was rainy... it was cold... but my friends were there cheering me on from the sidelines and it just felt good. After crossing the finish line shivering with blue lips, I was revived by my friends with good Vietnamese food. Yum yum.

My second marathon? This past weekend -- October 20th through the 21st I yet again attempted the grand 24-hour comic challenge. I think this is the first year that I really did it. I mean, the first time we all tried it, we aimed at 12 pages in 24 hours. I finished but it actually took more like 36 hours (shucks!). The second year I did OK but I was not crazy about the quality of the artwork. The third year, I was in Japan and missed the whole thing. Last year, I managed to finish but I can't even make sense of my own story. That brings us to this year. I think somehow I finally managed to keep it together and hopefully you'll enjoy the result.
